Who this applies to

• Retailers — business owners and staff with a My Customer account.
• End customers — people whose details a retailer saves in the app.
• Website visitors — people browsing mycustomerapp.in without signing in.

End customers should contact the shop that collected their data. We process that data on the shop's instructions.

What we collect

• Account — name, phone, email (optional), business settings, subscription status, login metadata.
• Business data you enter — customer names and phones, orders, coin balances, notes.
• Payments — subscription status and billing dates from Razorpay. We do not store card or UPI credentials.
• Technical — device, OS, app version, IP, logs, push tokens, diagnostics.
• Marketing site — Google Analytics only after cookie consent.
• Support — messages you send us and our replies.

How we use it

• Run, secure, and improve the Service
• Authenticate accounts and handle billing
• Send service notices and push alerts you opt into
• Meet legal obligations

We do not sell personal information or use end-customer phone numbers for our own marketing.

Who we share with

• AWS — hosting and authentication
• Razorpay — subscription billing
• Google / Firebase — push notifications and ads on the free Android app
• Google Analytics — marketing site traffic, with consent
• WhatsApp — only when you open it from the app; we do not read message content
• Legal / safety — when required by law or to protect rights and security

Retention

• Active accounts — kept while the account is open
• After closure — deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where law requires longer retention
• Billing records — kept for tax, accounting, and disputes

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent where applicable.
